Perdomo Cigars: Blends, Tobacco and Vitolas
Perdomo's cigar portfolio is centered on Nicaraguan tobacco, with wrapper selection, aging and fermentation creating many of the clearest differences between its major lines. Connecticut expressions generally pair Ecuadorian Connecticut wrappers with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, while Sun Grown and Maduro versions frequently use Nicaraguan wrapper, binder and filler in puro constructions.
Many Perdomo families are offered in parallel Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro versions, making wrapper comparison a central part of the portfolio. Perdomo Legacy
Perdomo Legacy was developed by Nicholas Perdomo III and introduces a Nicaraguan Shade Grown tobacco developed from Cuban- and Cameroon-seed genetics. The Legacy Connecticut uses a 10-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan Shade Grown binder and Cuban-seed Nicaraguan fillers.
The Legacy Nicaraguan Shade Grown is a Nicaraguan puro, while Legacy Maduro pairs a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan Shade Grown binder and Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler. The line is produced in Robusto, Epicure, Gran Belicoso, Gordo and Churchill formats.
Perdomo Lot 23
Perdomo Lot 23 is built around Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos and is offered in Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro expressions. The Connecticut version uses a five-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, while the Maduro uses a five-year-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper.
Lot 23 is produced in formats including Gordito, Robusto, Belicoso, Toro and Churchill. Because the core binder and filler remain Nicaraguan across the family, the wrapper becomes one of the most useful points of comparison between the different Lot 23 versions.
Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary
Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary is offered in Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro versions. The Connecticut blend uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, while the Sun Grown and Maduro versions are Nicaraguan puros using Cuban-seed Nicaraguan wrappers, binders and fillers.
The Sun Grown wrapper is aged for six years and receives additional bourbon-barrel aging, while the Maduro wrapper also undergoes extended bourbon-barrel aging. The line includes Figurado, Robusto, Corona Extra, Epicure, Super Toro, Torpedo and Churchill formats, with selected Connecticut sizes also available in Tubo presentations.
Perdomo 20th Anniversary
Perdomo 20th Anniversary follows a similar three-wrapper structure with Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro expressions. The Connecticut version combines an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler, while the Sun Grown and Maduro blends use Nicaraguan wrappers over Cuban-seed Nicaraguan interior tobaccos.
The Sun Grown and Maduro wrappers are aged for eight years before additional bourbon-barrel aging. Robusto, Epicure, Gordo, Torpedo, Corona Grande and Churchill formats provide a consistent group of sizes across the line.
Perdomo 30th Anniversary
Perdomo 30th Anniversary continues the manufacturer's use of aged Nicaraguan tobacco and multiple wrapper expressions. Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro versions provide different wrapper treatments while maintaining the Nicaraguan tobacco focus that defines much of the Perdomo portfolio.
The line includes traditional parejo and shaped formats, allowing direct comparisons between wrapper styles without changing cigar family. Exact wrapper aging and blend specifications should be compared by individual 30th Anniversary version.
Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged
Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged combines aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos with wrappers that receive additional aging in bourbon barrels. The line is produced in Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro expressions, creating three distinct wrapper approaches around a Nicaraguan-centered blend.
The bourbon-barrel treatment is used as an additional aging step rather than as a flavoring process. Wrapper type, tobacco age and cigar size remain the primary structural differences between the individual versions.
Perdomo Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro
Wrapper selection is one of the most consistent ways to compare Perdomo cigars. Ecuadorian Connecticut appears on several of the company's lighter-wrapper blends, while Nicaraguan Sun Grown and Nicaraguan Maduro wrappers are used extensively on fuller expressions built around Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.
Because Perdomo repeats similar vitolas across multiple wrapper versions, cigars such as Robusto, Epicure, Churchill and larger ring gauges can often be compared within the same family while changing primarily the wrapper and its aging treatment.
