Viaje

Viaje cigars are boutique premium cigars created by founder Andre Farkas, with a portfolio built around small-batch, seasonal, anniversary, and limited-production releases. Rather than relying on a small group of permanently available core lines, Viaje frequently changes blends, wrappers, sizes, and production runs from one release to the next.

Shop Viaje Skull and Bones, Circa '45, Private Bale, Grand Slam, anniversary releases, samplers, and other Viaje cigars available at Cigars N Cigars. Compare Robusto, Toro, Gordo, Torpedo, box-pressed, and specialty formats across the current Viaje selection.

Viaje Cigars: Blends, Tobacco and Limited Releases

Viaje is structured differently from manufacturers built around a fixed group of continuously produced cigar lines. Many Viaje cigars are released in limited quantities, return periodically in revised editions, or appear under seasonal, anniversary, and specialty names. Tobacco composition can therefore change substantially between releases carrying related branding.

The current Viaje catalog includes cigars made with Nicaraguan, Ecuadorian, Mexican San Andrés, Criollo, Corojo, and Maduro wrapper tobaccos, along with a wide range of traditional and specialty vitolas. Because individual releases may differ by year or edition, wrapper, binder, filler, country of manufacture, and size are best evaluated at the specific product level.

Popular Viaje Cigar Releases

Viaje Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones is one of Viaje's longest-running release families and has appeared under numerous individual names, sizes, and editions. Daisy Cutter, MOAB, Little Boy, Fat Man, Cloudmaker, Weapon X, Wolverine, Logan, and other releases have all appeared within the broader Skull and Bones series.

The tobacco composition is not uniform across every Skull and Bones cigar, so the name should be treated as a release family rather than one fixed blend. Current Cigars N Cigars inventory includes Skull and Bones Daisy Cutter 2024, a 4 x 54 Short Robusto listed with a Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper.

Viaje Circa '45

Circa '45 is represented in the current Cigars N Cigars catalog by No. 2 and No. 3 releases. Both are listed with Ecuadorian Habano wrappers over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, providing a more clearly defined blend structure than many of Viaje's rotating limited editions.

The two cigars differ primarily in dimensions. Circa '45 No. 2 is listed as a 6 x 54 Toro, while No. 3 is listed as a larger-ring Gordo format. This makes Circa '45 useful for comparing size while retaining a similar wrapper, binder, and filler structure.

Viaje Private Bale

Private Bale is another release family rather than a single permanent blend. Current Cigars N Cigars inventory includes Private Bale Sunlight On a Field Twilight, listed with a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper and Nicaraguan origin.

Other Private Bale editions have appeared under names such as Dawn and Twilight. Because the line changes by release, exact binder, filler, wrapper, and dimensions should be verified on the individual cigar rather than generalized across the entire Private Bale name.

Viaje Grand Slam

Grand Slam uses Viaje's recurring release model, with different color and camouflage editions appearing over time. Current Cigars N Cigars inventory includes Grand Slam Camo Yellow, listed as a Super Toro with a Nicaraguan Corojo '99 wrapper.

Other Grand Slam editions may use different wrapper or blend specifications. The release name and color should therefore be treated as part of the cigar's identity rather than assuming all Grand Slam cigars share one tobacco recipe.

Viaje Anniversary Releases

Viaje regularly marks brand milestones with anniversary cigars and related follow-up editions. The current Cigars N Cigars catalog includes Fifteen Plus Two And A Half Red and Gold, both in box-pressed 6 x 54 Toro formats.

The Red version is listed with a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, while the Gold version uses Nicaraguan Criollo. The shared dimensions make these releases a useful example of Viaje changing wrapper expression while keeping the basic format consistent.

Viaje C4

Viaje C4 illustrates how the brand's releases can fall outside the tobacco and production patterns seen elsewhere in the portfolio. The current Cigars N Cigars listing identifies C4 as a 5 x 56 Robusto Gordo made in Honduras with a Nicaraguan Corojo '99 Maduro wrapper.

Its Honduran manufacture distinguishes it from many Viaje cigars associated with Nicaraguan production and reinforces why country of manufacture should be verified release by release.

Viaje Limited and Seasonal Cigars

Beyond Skull and Bones, Private Bale and the anniversary releases, Viaje has produced numerous seasonal and specialty series including Summerfest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Vampire Dust, White Label Project, Honey & Hand Grenades, Zombie and other limited-production cigars. Retail availability can vary considerably after each release sells through.

For these cigars, the exact release name and year can be as important as the broader series name. A returning cigar may use a different size, wrapper or blend specification from an earlier edition.

Viaje Sizes and Vitolas

Viaje uses a wide range of cigar formats across its rotating catalog, including Short Robusto, Robusto, Toro, Gordo, Torpedo, Super Toro, Robusto Gordo and box-pressed shapes. The current Cigars N Cigars inventory alone includes formats ranging from the 4 x 54 Skull and Bones Daisy Cutter to 6 x 54 box-pressed anniversary cigars and larger-ring releases.

Because the brand frequently pairs new blends with specific shapes and limited production runs, vitola should be considered part of the individual release rather than treated as a permanent size structure across the entire Viaje portfolio.
