Joya de Nicaragua Cigars: Blends, Tobacco and Vitolas
Nicaraguan tobacco forms the foundation of the Joya de Nicaragua portfolio, but the individual cigar families use it in different ways. Antaño 1970 and Joya Red emphasize Nicaraguan tobacco throughout the blend, while Joya Black adds a Mexican San Andrés wrapper and Joya Silver combines an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan filler.

Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco
Cuatro Cinco was originally developed to commemorate Joya de Nicaragua's 45th anniversary. The current Reserva Especial blend uses a Nicaraguan Habano Criollo wrapper, Dominican binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, with selected filler aged in white oak barrels. Joya Red
Joya Red is a medium-strength Nicaraguan puro using a Nicaraguan Habano Criollo Claro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Compared with the fuller Antaño family, Red was blended around a more moderate strength profile while retaining an all-Nicaraguan tobacco composition. Joya Black
Joya Black changes the structure of the Joya series by using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The darker wrapper separates Black from the all-Nicaraguan Joya Red while maintaining Nicaragua as the source of the interior tobacco. Joya Silver
