West Tampa Tobacco Company was founded by cigar maker Rick Rodriguez, drawing its name and identity from the Tampa neighborhood where he grew up surrounded by the history of the city's cigar industry. Rodriguez entered the cigar business after hearing the stories of his grandparents, both cigar rollers, and later developed his tobacco knowledge under experienced cigar makers including Benji Menendez.

Who Is Rick Rodriguez?
