Casa Carrillo Ascend Peak is a handmade, box-pressed 6.25 x 58 Gordo crafted at Casa Carrillo in Santiago, Dominican Republic. An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Estelí binder and Nicaraguan fillers, creating a medium-strength cigar with a generous ring gauge and deliberate progression.
Ascend is a regular-production addition to the Perez-Carrillo Series, with Saddle, Ridge, and Peak representing stages of elevation. The Peak expresses the blend through cedar, espresso, leather, warm spice, and a subtle earthy sweetness, while its larger format gives the Nicaraguan tobaccos ample room to develop.
