Cavatina by Emilio Gran Toro is a handmade 6 x 60 Gran Toro produced at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. The medium-full blend pairs an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper with an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers, and it is presented in a box of 20 cigars.
Introduced at the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, Cavatina was Emilio's first release following Gary Griffith's departure and was created with James Brown of Black Label Trading Company. Its name refers to a simple musical melody, while the broad Gran Toro format develops a profile of cocoa, earth, coffee, subtle sweetness, and black pepper.
