My Father La Promesa Toro is a 6 x 52 premium handmade Toro produced in Nicaragua. It pairs an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos for a medium-strength expression of the La Promesa line.
La Promesa, meaning “the promise,” reflects José “Pepín” García’s pledge to build a legacy for his family in the cigar business. The Toro delivers an earthy, woody profile with nuttiness and faint chocolate, while pepper, leather, and cream add further dimension to its balanced character.
